82 Packages that will not upgrade

I've got a Slitaz Cooking install on a 4G Centon USB Flash Drive.  I've updated a few packages over

a few days.  I've recharged my lists, and now I have 82 Packages that will not upgrade.

I've attached a photo with the first of many packages to upgrade.  If I toggle ALL, they still do not

update.

What am I doing wrong?

REF:  Attached Photo.

THANKS.

Larry.

Re: 82 Packages that will not upgrade

Actually, it's a bug. And old TazPanel. You should see '915resolution', 'acl', 'alsa-lib' etc under the 'name' header.

Please, attach here source of this page.

Re: 82 Packages that will not upgrade

@Ikraemer

You have an old version of cooking installed.

As root in terminal:

cat /etc/slitaz-release

If it says: cooking

Your connecting to the wrong repo which would explain updates breaking your system.

tazpkg set-release 4.0

Re: 82 Packages that will not upgrade

Aleksej,

You requested, "Please, attach here source of this page".  The Photo was just a screenshot of the

APPLICATIONS -> SYSTEM TOOLS -> SliTaz Panel  when I tried to Update my system.  The data scrolled

well down the page.

I've attached a Report from /var/cache/Slitaz/sys-report Maybe it will be of some help.

Mojo,

When I did:

cat /etc/slitaz-release, it did show cooking.  I used set-release to 4.0 and I am upgrading now.

I was under the impression that the cooking version was the most rescent version that was

under continuous update and nightly releases were avaliable for the current cooking version.

Is that the case or not?  I don't understand!

Thanks.

Larry

Re: 82 Packages that will not upgrade

Eventually  cooking is released as a stable version with a number designation.

Then a new cooking starts with a newer kernel.

Check your kernel version: uname -a

Previous cooking was released as Stable 4.0 on April 10, 2012

Linux slitaz 2.6.37-slitaz #2 SMP Wed Mar 7 10:36:39 CET 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

New Cooking which began after Stable 4.0 was released:

Linux slitaz 3.2-slitaz #4 SMP Wed May 2 02:07:42 CEST 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

Use Stable 4.0 not the new cooking which will eventually be released as Slitaz 5.0.

Cooking is too new, sound is broken.

Re: 82 Packages that will not upgrade

Up-to-date? Yes. Stable? Hell No. At the moment they're upgrading everything and as such just about every part of cooking is either broken or being worked on. Cooking is meant for developers and users willing to help fix things.
