slitaz 4 usb install every writefs crash my X system

Hi.

I had some strange issue, I have a video card Radeon 5430 PCI, I did the frugal installation  and is running.

After some days trying to debug and what is causing my problem and didn't found nothing I'm here asking for some advice.

The frugal setup is easy, maybe I forget to do some thing, this is my process.

1; Format my USB Ext3.

2; Copy from the CD all the roofs*.gz into 1 inside my usb memory(/boot/rootfs.gz).

3; Copy bzImage from the cd to the usb mem (/boot)

4; Install grub into my usb mem

   grub-install --no-floppy --root-directory=usb-root /dev/sda

5; setup menu.lst

6; umount everything

7 reboot.

Once I reboot and start slitaz it works, no issue, is using VESA driver, the problem start went I install software, firefox or php(is what I want to use), once I install any of this packages, I get into my console, backup my system:

tazusb writefs gzip...

no sound

resolution yes/no doesn't matter same issue.

Once I reboot and start the system, my Xorg won't start, reading the log the last lines it say:

cannot read V_BIOS(3) input/output error.

other say:

screens found, but none have a usable configuration.

Note: I had not change nothing in my Xorg settings.

I have read both setups and are the same, I can get back to my default setup and everything works, I cannot install nothing because once I install something and backup my system this happen.

Any input will be appreciated, thanks!!!

I don't need to install nothing, after running tazusb writefs gzip, reboot my issue appear.

I have read both xorg setups and have the same settings.

The issue continue.
