My Documents

A small question, but how can you remove or modify the shortcut on the desktop "My Documents" which is the default in tux ....?

The Bad News: You can't while pcmanfm manages your desktop.

The Good News: You can always disable desktop management in pcmanfm and use a separate desktop manager. Here's a guide that does just that: http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:sexydesktop - you can ignore all the other parts except for the one that talks about nitrogen. That's the separate desktop manager you may want to try.

I suspected I had found traces of a discussion in the google cache "http://forum.slitaz.org/index.php/discussion/113/how-to-remove-the-own-directory-folder-on-the-dektop" but no longer have access, I now have confirmation, I'll try the solution proposed by the news.

This is my solution to the problem, a patch applied to pcmanfm of an iso slitaz3.0

constraint to maintain the context menu on the desktop ...
