when my system boots I get quite a lot of udev errors, something like:
error binding control socket, seems udev is already running
bind failed: Address already in use
These errors seem to occur when fstab is being processed, and are a result of the mounts described there.
Is there any fix for this? Does anyone else get errors when mounting drives via fstab?
Hi,
No you are not the only one and it's the first bug I posted on BTS. We have trouble with udev from a while now and different behavor for some peopple is works for me no.
But they is some news! I upateed udev to 168 and use new /run/udev as default for udev runtime files, actually I can boot into X without any udev errors anymore. We will do new Cooking iso as soon as possoble.
