4.0 stable - During installation, /home partition formatted even when option is unchecked

I wanted to re-install just the root partition of 4.0 stable and keep my /home partition.

When I reinstalled:

I checked the option to format the root partition

I checked the option to use a separate /home partition

I *unchecked* the option to format the /home partition

However, the /home partition was formatted.

Just to be sure, I tried it again.  Same thing.

Re: 4.0 stable - During installation, /home partition formatted even when option is unchecked

It was a Tazpanel bug:

http://bugs.slitaz.org/?id=12

It has been fixed, you just have to upgrade your system (tazpanel up to 1.5.7):

[c]# tazpkg recharge
# tazpkg up[/c]
or use Tazpanel:

not sure i understand.... i hope i am wrong....

if the correction of this relies on the user to upgrade before installing, then there is a need to urgently create a 4.01 for later downloads, dont you think ?
