FTP server

I am looking for a ftp server package to install in slitaz, like vsftpd or betaftpd, but I didn't find any information. Does anybody know if something already exists?

SliTaz has 2-3 packages that provide ftp daemons you can use of which the easiest of is probably pure-ftpd (http://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd). The packages you'd want to install to get it is called pure-ftpd and pure-ftpd-extras. You can probably find out more on how to use it at the site's documentation section (http://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd/doc).

Just a question, however: why is there no result when you search it on
http://pkgs.slitaz.org/search.cgi
? Have I missed something about the purpose of this search engine?

I think we all were SliTaz noobs at one point, but you pick up the feel for it pretty quickly if your willing
