Raspberry Pi install

I've dl'd and burned the .img for the Raspberry Pi and it successfully boot to the login.  But when I try to startx, neither the xorg nor the fb options work. The xorg option brings up another box where the only option is to quit.  The fb option prints a couple of lines and then hangs.

Where did you get the image from?
