Slitaz4.0 "base": error: hda: task_no_data_intr ... but not in "justx"

(I am new to Slitaz and with the forum)

With Slitaz4.0 base, I got this error message when running fdisk (and in dmesg):

hda: task_no_data_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }

hda: task_no_data_intr: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }

(... wcache failed flushfailed)

BUT with Slitaz4.0 justx, everything is fine.

The hardware: i-Buddie A907, 128MB RAM, 20GB HDD. Transmetta processor. Very old laptop (around 2002).

This problem occurs also with ploplinux4.2.2. So it is probably not Slitaz related.

Other information: looking on the internet, I found reports on this problem with older linux kernel too but with no appropriate solution.

(My objective is to install slitaz bare minimum on this machine. I do not need X.)

Speculation and question:

What is the package missing in Slitaz4.0 "base" that is not in "justx" that could cause this misbehaviour in "base"?
