Re: Swedish Translation

I think, this receipt have no troubles:

1. Make new folder, put your 'pot' file here.

2. Open Terminal here (in PCManFM just press F4).

3. If you set up your locale correct, then enter command

[c]msginit[/c]

otherwise enter command

[c]msginit -l sv[/c]

4. You will be prompted to check your e-mail, just press Enter. Wait while program fetch some info from internet. Done!

5. Now open your brand new 'po' file with Poedit. Go menu 'Edit → Preferences'. Check that you entered Your name and mail, and have check some checkboxes like I have:

Anyway, you can correct your old files with text editor. Correct plural formula for Svenska is:

[c]"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1);\n"[/c]

And [c]msginit[/c] insert it automatically.

And I didn't manage to upload the PO files...

Have you seen my post above? I've wrote:

It's only a bit tricky to rename your file to have ability to attach. You can rename it like 'tazpanel-sv.po.txt'.

Or, maybe, regular forum members have no ability to attach 'txt' files? Sorry, I don't know, I'm not a regular member.

At the end of this forum page I can see:

allowed uploads: bmp (500 KB), doc (500 KB), gif (500 KB), gz (500 KB), jpeg (500 KB),

jpg (500 KB), pdf (500 KB), png (500 KB), txt (500 KB), xls (500 KB), zip (500 KB), tazpkg (500 KB)

You can pack all your files to 'tar.gz' or 'zip' archive and attach here.

Re: Swedish Translation

Strange hmm

Please, go here: http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/swedish-translation/page/2

I don't like SCN forums and prefere standard forum.

Next, in pictures.

1) Emil! Do you see «Choose File» buttons?

2) Press it and select your file.

3) Now file is «choosed».

4) If you want to upload more files, press second button «Choose File». If you need even more, press «[+] more» link — it produces two more buttons «Choose File».

5) Now, write your message and press button «Send Post» on the right. Done!

Please, not forget to write message! wink

Re: Swedish Translation

Aah, the problem may have been the SCN forums, I've only been trying from them.

I'm trying again now from the link you sent.

Edit: It didn't work. Perhaps it was some Midori troubles, I'm going to try from my parents Windows PC soon.

Re: Swedish Translation

Ehm... I'm working in Midori, and it's great.

Mime... I recall if I take e-mail attachments from my window's friends, it always be as 'application/octet-stream'. And, maybe if you work in SliTaz but want to attach files from ntfs partition, they all treated as octet stream? Dunno...

Now I write from my Symbian mobile under Opera Mobile, and I try to attach some file here.

Well, you can post all your files directly to me. My e-mail address you can find in my profile, just click 'Coder-hobbyist' link.

Re: Swedish Translation

Well I've tried both midori on slitaz and chrome on windows, perhaps it's some networking error? I shall try once more on my neighbours network. (No need to call the cops!)

Edit: I get the following error all the time, not sure what it means...

Re: Swedish Translation

If I remember well, Gmail always works fine. Yes, I receive your translations, and today they "in progress" of pushing.

A have a question.

'slitaz-base' project, translation of "Failed" is "Misslyckades". It's too long for terminal, we need any other translation with 7 letters long maximum. I translated it as "Avta". Is it right?

PS: Done. You can check hg.slitaz.org if you wish.

Re: Swedish Translation

No, avta is not correct, I'm not sure if there's any good short words but you could use "fel" which basically is wrong/error if that works...

Re: Swedish Translation

It's a very wrong use of language but I can't find anything more suiting, is it possible to send an update if I find a better word?
