usb Wireless

OK so I found some tutorials the other day to try and figure out how to get my usb wireless adapter working but now I can't find them.

It's a RNX-N150UBE by Rosewill. I am on a Dell latitude d600 with a pentium m @1.6ghz and 748 mb of ram.

I have DLL several flavours and still can't decide which one I want to try on my 1995 machine (Probably Core) the problem is w/o internet I can't really see what I can do.

I'll start with directions to the tutorials please.

Thx to all the developers and volunteer support persons here. I think this little distro will breath new life into my otherwise dead computer. If I can get it working well enough I may just donate it.

Thank you all again.

Re: usb Wireless

Boot slitaz on latitude d600 with wireless adapter plugged in.

Open terminal if in X session, if you boot to console login as root password: root

Type this command

[c]lsusb > wireless.txt ; cat /proc/bus/usb/devices >> wireless.txt[/c]

Hit enter key.

Type

[c]less wireless.txt[/c]

Hit enter key.

Verify the output of commands [c]lsusb[/c] and [c]cat /proc/bus/usb/devices[/c] were written to file.

Hit [c]q[/c] to exit less

Mount a flash drive, copy the wireless.txt to it.

Unmount flash drive and plug it into internet enabled computer.

Post wireless.txt as an attachment to your Reply from Upload Files from your Computer,Browse... button to wireless.txt,Upload button
