Trying to run Brasero and I am getting libbrasero*.so.0 modules missing messages. Does anyone know where to find these modules? Thanks

Customize the receipt to your needs.
The install location for the modules and plugins is /usr/lib
genpkg_rules doesn't copy them to the pseudo filesystem
Add whats in bold to receipt and cook brasero.

@mojo, added the highlighted line to the receipt and cooked. The process went off OK but when brasero was launced the dvd options were greyed out. Checked the receipt to see whether dvd option is disabled but could not find anything obviously missing there. Also Brasero appeared to crash at times. I thought may be better to stick with the default cd/dvd burner package included in Slitaz....

gdesilva did you ever get brasero to work? I made a livecd from create livecd. And it is not finding my cd -rw. My burn dvd is greyed out also. I can't get xfburn to work nor graveman.
None of them are working.

@ooseven, As mentioned earlier, I was able to start up Brasero but the DVD option was greyed out. I found the default CD/DVD burning app, Burnbox, in Slitaz did all I wanted to do without any problem so did not bother pursuing Brasero issues. I was using Brasero in Ubuntu up until recently but it was flaky in 12.04 and switched to xfburn which worked perfectly well. Unfortunately, haven't had time to try out xfburn in Slitaz.
EDIT: Just noticed that Brasero cannot find some of the plugins required for compiling audio and video projects. Check, Edit -> Plugins in Brasero.

Try installing cdrdao and cdrtools and you will find that the some of the plugins will get detected. However, I noticed that it says that the 'version of cdda2wav is too old'. Unfortunately, I do not have a burner on this machine hence cannot test it. Would be interested to know whether this fixes your problem.

@ooseven, it would be useful if you were to provide details of any error messages when using xfburn.

No errors, just don't see my dvd-cd. But I have reinstalled a few more times and have no problems with the cd burner that comes with slitaz now...
Don't know why, but it works now. reinstalled with the same disk also.

That's great to hear.
In my case Burnbox and xfburn, both work OK. With Brasero, earlier greyed out option are now working - just that the icon is not displayed which is not an issue. However, Brasero claims that some plugins are out of date and I still have the problem of not being able to add audio files, mp3 or wav, into a project - Brasero claims it cannot add those files. This probably an error caused by not installing the 'outdated' plugins. Perhaps, the dependencies need to be updated??
However, since I have ditched Brasero from Slitaz and Ubuntu as xfburn works under both OSs I will close this thread now. Just haven't got time to pursue this any further.

I still prefer Graveman myself. xfburn has a slight delay while loading and unlike Burnbox, they both work for me.

@Trixar_za, installed Graveman - it does look quite nice. Thanks for the tip! Interesting to know why ooseven could not get Graveman or xfburn to work.

One thing to note about Graveman is that you can't add ogg or mp3 files to Audio CDs. Graveman says sox was not compiled to support either types. Maybe we can fix the other programs if we fix sox so it has support for mp3 and ogg files...
EDIT: Hmmm, I see nothing wrong with the receipt and sox displays it has support for mp3 and ogg formats. Strange. It's clearly related to Graveman then...

Hi Mrs...My first visit here...
About Brasero...
I have had problems with Isomaster in creating data iso files...
It seems that it cuts Office files on the iso image...
I know that DD is better...
