The SliTaz community has moved to Maille, a forum made for SliTaz.

We looked hard for a replacement for this aging forum, including a move from bbPress to FluxBB last June. But spam bots now get through sign-up even with mail confirmation, and these forum engines are barely maintained anymore. So we wrote a forum in the SliTaz spirit: small, fast, no JavaScript, works on old machines and in text browsers. Everything here stays readable.

Need to configure network on every boot

Whenever I boot into slitaz I need to choose "lo" from the network manager and the go to network configuration to manually enter my IP, gateway, DNS servers and mask. That is the only way ethernet works for me and I need to do it on every boot. How do I make these settings permanent?

Never mind, I must have mixed up livecd and a hard disk installation. When installed on HDD, the network configuration persists on every boot. I've been trying many slitaz versions, installed some of them and maybe that's why I got it all mixed up. Sorry.
