Install to hard disk attempt with loram fails

I am trying to load to the hard disk and keep getting the failure message "

I am using the small version (I have about 182 mb ram)  slitaz-3.0-loram-cdrom.iso77

At "System Tools>>SliTaz Installer>> after "Mounting cdrom" I get an error message "Unable to find : rootfs.gz"

Any ideas gratefully accepted!

Re: Install to hard disk attempt with loram fails

If the slitaz burned live cd is in the computers optical drive slitaz-installer should mount it to /media/cdrom otherwise try doing it yourself.

An alternative to using the burned cd is to be manually loop mount the slitaz.iso to /media/cdrom.

Verify in terminal the presence of /media/cdrom/boot/rootfs.gz:

ls -la /media/cdrom/boot

Re: Install to hard disk attempt with loram fails

Hello mojo

Thanks for your reply - nothing I did at the command line worked, but eventually I used the System Tools >> Mount Devices to mount the cdrom to /media/cdrom.

After failing the first time, I tried again and the Hard Disk installation worked.

I will now be moving on to get the USB Wifi key working!

Thanks again.
