Dear friends,
I've tried to use slitaz for just 2 days ago, and I'm new user for linux OS. Does anyone know how to install the packages including their dependencies (abiword,gnumeric, flac & ape codecs, etc) without internet connection? I've downloaded Collection of SliTaz GNU/Linux 3.0 packages iso image and burn it to a dvd right now.
Your help would be appreciated. Thank you

There's a tool for that into Menu > System > Packages manager > Configuration > DVD Box
I have recent problem:
I install Slitaz 4.0 on Hard Disk
I put slitaz packges 4.0.iso and i would install programs without internet connection (from cd)
How do it? Thanks
When i put CD in packge manager no have anything from cd to install.

Just drop down to packages folder and click on the package you want to install.

So, I installed the packages by clicking on them, but many programs have a lot of dependencies and required libraries. install all manually is tiresome.
If we do slitaza package manager, it automatically installs the necessary packages.
How mount packges 4.0 DVD in slitaz package manager?
If I run Slitaz live CD, it detects the CD package manager with packages, and if I run Slitaz installed on the HDD and then put the disc with packages, package manager does not detect them from the board. How do I? Thanks

This is supposed to
mkdir /mnt/packages
loopmount packages-4.0.iso to /mnt/packages
run install.sh at the root of packages-4.0.iso
If it doesn't work do it manually in the terminal.

Hello again. Poorly know English so please explain what exactly should be entered in that field in the administration TazPanel. I put a screenshot of the selected numbers in the fields and I would ask about saying something with the number entered. I also noticed that if you start from the disc slitaz packages. 4.0 is in the box where it says there is some default mirror the path to the packages from the CD, and how one would change the path of the installed Slitaz (all in block 4)

I would like to say only one thing. If your English is bad, and you using machine translator and not sure in translation quality, then the best practice to write posts on two languages: your native message and machine translated. I know Polish a bit 
Its better to me personally, to read good Polish post than machinary English. Don't be shy!

Hi,
I have followed Mojo's instructions and mounted the packages to /mnt/packages but when I run the install.sh file nothing happens.
If I run it from terminal (from /mnt/packages I type sh install.sh and press Enter) I get this message:
=> all 4.0 packages are available for tazpkg/tazpkgbox
ln: /home/slitaz/wok: File exists
=> Wok (stable) is in /home/slitaz/wok
=> slitaz web site is not installed. How can I do it?
Am I doing anything wrong?
