ATI drivers

Hi, just installed slitaz 4 on an old Dell Lattitude C600 with 256Mb RAM & it's fantastic!

I have just one issue:

Screen Resolution, cannot fill the screen no matter what resolution I set it at.

I've searched the forums but can't fathom a solution.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a similar problem with Trident card in a Toshiba where I could not set the resolution higher than 800x600. I googled and found another post in a different forum where this was fixed by setting the horizontal and vertical refresh rates. Perhaps, checking the specs for your screen on Dell site and specifying them in Xorg.conf may fix the problem. Mine is now set to 1024x768 with this solution.

Thanks I will check this out, but my resolution is set to 1280x1024 & I have a 1cm gap at each side of the screen. I think it's a driver issue.

No it's 1024x768 pixels
