Installer Cannot Find rootfs.gz

I have slitaz-3.0 and slitaz-cooking both working (3.0 with liveCD, cooking with liveUSB.

When I attempt to install either of these, using Install from the GUI box, or by

starting Install from the terminal, they issue the above message. Both versions work

in the "live" mode.

What am I doing wrong?

You pointed me in the right direction.

Had more problems, but googled for solutions,

and found them.

Now have a working USB Slitaz installation.

Next project is finding out how to get connected

to the internet (dialup).

If there are some links to that sort of help for

a complete linux illiterate, can you point me

there?
