Old forum user account 'does not exist'

Tried logging in with my original forum user account 'ms3811', I get the error user does not exist, same goes for recover password. Any chances I can get that account back? Thanks.

Different forum system with different database entries so it's hard, if not impossible, to share users and accounts between the two.

@Trixar_za, does that mean the original accounts were not migrated to the new forum and everyone is re-registering? Just want to make sure I don't end up creating duplicate accounts. Thanks for the response.
