Re: I need help figuring out compatiblity issues with the Live CD Comodo Rescue Disc

You've been everywhere, haven't you? I've seen copies of this post at Ubuntu, Fedora and general Linux sites. Hell, you even posted this to unrelated projects with no connection to SliTaz or Comodo. I also found your posts on the Comodo forum.

Here's the thing: Comodo makes no official reference to SliTaz being used at all and instead says it uses a 'small Linux distribution'. I actually had to dig in the forum to find the connection. They also added an EULA on top of it. I wonder how compliant this is to the GPL...

This leads us to the main problem: We don't know which SliTaz version they used, what they changed or stripped to make the Comodo Rescue Disc.

So where does this leave you? At the mercy of the Comodo devs who feel so prudent to not hand out the information we'd need to help you. Go bug them and stop reposting this all over the internet. It's just annoying and won't get you help any faster.

Agree with Trixar. Comodo live CD is made on top of SliTaz Cooking.

It may even be a buggy version of the cooking.

In fact. We are not able to help you with your problem.

You can suggest them to use a stable version rather than SliTaz cooking.
