Hey got a problem when booting latest cooging 31/5-2011
after ive selected language and keyboard it goes to commandprompt and asks
for username and password and at the top it says:
something about cant set MTRR
Blank screen? Try to boot with your screen parameters in kernel prompt, like "slitaz vga=791".
No thats not the problem m8, i get a login prompt for commandprompt, with error messages
i think it has to do with some driver issue, screen resolution seems good
error msg displayed is: failed to set mtrr: Invalid argument
[Update:] This is the actuall how it says at command prompt:
error setting MTRR (0x0000000, size = 0x01000000, type = 1) Invalid argument (22)
I tried slitaz vga=791 etc....
Asus EeePc 901 and last cooking iso.
I write here because suggestion in other member.
Booting after using unetbootin to sd chart.
All seems to work well since final: List of text lines saying OK arriving to kernel line and the last line I can read before black screen without any key combination possibility.
The text is "Sending render"
I can not read any more text line
Black screen...any key works or any key combination. No cursor blinking
I reboot and try grub options..rootdelay, vga=....but no solution.
Slitaz 3.0 works (no wireless possible but...) and boots ok
Help?
A new cooking with xorg light is disponible now, maybe the problem is solved!?...
