Hello,
I see a few threads based on this problem, but I'm a noob and feel mine might be a little different since I am running the xorg-light build of Slitaz.
I have an Eee PC 900A which is an Atom-based netbook. The official GPU is the Intel GMA 950.
Slitaz just never wants to install, but I noticed the xorg-light version worked fine. Since I'm using a lighter build, I'm hoping someone can show me how to increase my resolution to the native 1024x600 at whatever the highest color depth is.
I've looked at the other threads but the xorg.conf stuff confuses me, so I might need a little hand holding. Thanks a lot everyone!

what i did with my C400, is that i booted and older version of ubuntu then copied the xorg.conf file from there.
will be way way faster than reading the documentation (not even discussing about you understanding it).
i think you have to use an older version of ubuntu though, so that the xorg version will match.

What version did you boot? I just booted 9.10 and didn't find an xorg.conf at all. Heh
