I have slitaz cooking installed on a dell c640 laptop and I tried using driconf to get hyperz working with the Radeon 7500 card.
When I do enable it in driconf a message like this is displayed (my laptop is off right now so it's not the exact message):
"DRM version 1.6 too old to support HyperZ, disabling."
I found a patch for drm here: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.dri.devel/52426
and I'm wondering how exactly do I use this patch so that I can enable hyperz? Thanks.
