Hello there,
I'd read good stuff about Slitaz and I like to install it on my netbook. May I know if it is possible to set it to display at netbook resolution of 1024x600?
I'd tried the vesa flavor (it wouldn't let me login as tux or root; seems like having issue with the resolution). I'd also tried the Cooking version, the screen goes haywire.
However, the stable version works great; only thing is I don't know how to set the resolution to 1024x600.
Would doing in these following threads help?

btw, the problem I had with vesa version is when I tried to get the utility to detect the netbook monitor during live booting. Other than that, if I choose 800x600, it works good. I just wanna know if it is possible and how to set the resolution to 1024x600.

yes the first link will help since NC10 and EEEPC 1000H use the same graphics chipset (I own a 1000H too)
In addition I suggest to install slitaz-eeepc and xorg-xf86-video-intel (the correct video driver) as well.
The further steps depend upon how you use slitaz...
1) as a live CD
then, after installing 915resolution and xorg...intel you should clean the cache (tazpkg clean-cache as root or click "clean cache" in Configurations tab in Packages Manager) and create a new live CD with the option in the Start->System Tools Menu.
2) as a "normal" installation
then you just apply the new packages, clean the cache and you should be up and running (if the xorg-xf86-intel should not be applied yet, try tazx as root from a console (Ctrl-Alt-F1).
3) as frugal install (booting the rootfs from Harddisk with GRUB)
create the liveCD as in 2) and copy the new rootfs.gz in /home/slitaz/..... to your boot directory. You should rename your original rootfs.gz to rootfs.gz.orig or something if anything went wrong...
