slitaz cooking, kernel 2.6.37
following slitaz procedures, i succeeded compiling a new slitaz kernel one month ago.
today, with the exact same procedure (getting kernel sources from scratch, patching them for slitaz and compiling) and any .config file including original one, the compilation seem to work, bzImage and modules are generated without error but bzImage file is very small (about 20 kb).
did anybody see the same behaviour, is there a known reason and a workaround for this ?
The difference is that compiling SliTaz Cooking source is vastly different from compiling SliTaz 3 from source. There has been a few changes put in place to compensate for changes in the linux kernel and to enable certain functions that SliTaz might need (like bluetooth). So the documentation on this is VERY out of date and as such doesn't work all that well >.>
The best people to ask about this would be godane or pankso, considering that they both compile the kernel from scratch a lot.
