Trouble installing Canon mp640 printer

Can anyone tell me what drivers I should use to install mp640? I previously installed this printer on ubuntu using deb drivers so I know the drill. I just do not know what package type is used by Slitaz.

The driver is called gutenprint and can be installed through the tazpanel.

Open TazPanel, enter password, click on packages and search for gutenprint and it'll show up.

Open terminal

su

password: root

hwsetup printer --suggested

Open web browser:

http://localhost:631/

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately didn't work for me. "Add Printer" on localhost doesn't recognise my printer.

Printer auto discovery on cups doesn't recognize my hp printer.

You have to manually Administration=>Add Printer

Eventually you get to printer brand and model.

Canon MP640 is on the drop down list of drivers

Canon PIXMA MP640 - Cups + Gutenprint v5.2.7 (en)

or

Canon PIXMA MP640 - Cups + Gutenprint v5.2.7 Simplified (en)

Don't know what the difference is,try both.
