Cloning an existing config for use as kiosk?

Sorry if this ends up double-posted.  I posted it once, but that first post does not appear in the list of forum topics.

Hello all,

Very new to SliTaz, but not new to Linux.

I've recently discovered SliTaz and I'm loving it.

I have what I hope are three straightforward questions about SliTaz:

1) Is there a way to make a faithful remaster of a running SliTaz install that is complete in every way?  Not just the same packages, but the exact configuration in every detail.  If the HDD install is configured to autologin user "foo", then the LiveCD would autologin user "foo" and so on.

To be clear, I'm not talking about persistence here.  My goal is to preconfigure a SliTaz environment for a specific use, and then burn a CD that allows that configuration to be used, without additional intervention, in a kiosk.

2) If yes to question #1, then is there a wiki page or some such where the procedure is documented in a way that inexperienced SlitTaz users can understand?

3) If yes to question #2, would someone be so kind as to point me to it?  My forum/Web searches have turned up lots of stuff about persistence in a Live USB environment, or about creating SliTaz remixes from "flavors," but neither of those is my goal.

Re: Cloning an existing config for use as kiosk?

Three things...

1- '# tazpkg repack-config' creates a package with all 'well known' your config files declared with

CONFIG_FILES="..." in receipts. Available in tazpkgbox configuration tab, button 'Repack config'.

2- flavors hold all informations to remaster SliTaz (see http://pizza.slitaz.org/)

3- tazusb creates bootable keys with persistant /home and the possibility to save the modifications in /

Hope it helps.
