I have an old IBM 2611. I installed SliTaz and have been very pleased. The only problem I have is getting the pcmcia wireless card to work. It is a Netgear WN511T. I downloaded the windows driver and extracted it to find the .INF file. There was 4 of them. They were netmw147.inf, netmw148.inf, netmw147j.inf, and netmw148j.inf. I tried to install the drivers in the wireless driver section, but none of them worked. From some of the forums I have read, it looks like Prism54 and netmw14x.inf worked for some people. I then found the package "tazndis" and installed it through terminal, but I couldn't find it. So I went ahead and install the ndiswrapper, ndiswrapper-drivers, and ndiswrapper-utils packages since I am a little familiar with ndiswrapper. I couldn't find it either. I tried "run" and put in "ndiswrapper" and nothing happened. It should be noted that I didn't have a internet connection when I installed these. If I run "lspci" in terminal, I can see the wireless card.
Can someone point me in the right direction ? I would sure appreciate any help.

Install: tazndis,perl-core,ndiswrapper-driver tazpkgs
#wifibox
Drivers tab/Install Windows driver button
tazndisbox: browse to .inf with folder button/->Install button/->Load button/Exit
Configuration tab/enter credentials/->Start connection button
If ndiswrapper doesn't work post the output:
lspci -nn | grep -i net

Mojo,
I did as you asked. I was missing the perl-core. The driver installed, and I went to configure, put in my wifi name and password and selected WPA and hit start connection. Nothing happened. So I ran your command and here is the output:
02:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Marvell Technology Group LTD. 8BW8361 [TopDog] 802,11n wireless [11ab:2a02] (rev 03)

I should also note that I had a USB adapter for my ethernet cable which was working fine. When I went thru the above procedure, now it is not working. I really don't care, if I can get the wireless working.

My research found no linux driver for wireless chipset 11ab:2a02
Slitaz network script supports one network device.
To reactivate your ethernet:
Become root
#netbox
DHCP tab
Change=> Interface: wlan0
To => Interface: eth0
Click Stop then Start button

Thank you Mojo, any pcmcia card you would recommend that works well ? Needs to be able to do WPA2

Mojo,
I am all screwed up. I changed from wlan0 to eth0 on the DHCP tab, but I didn't get internet back. It shows eth0 is not connected but "lo" is. If I choose "lo" the system tray icon shows I am connected, but no internet when I open Midori.
Because you saw no driver for my WN511T, I decided to use my WNA1000 which works just plugging it into Ubuntu. The driver is ar9170usb and 0846:9040. I saw in the modules that ar9170usb is listed. However, when I run your command above, the WNA1000 doesn't show up. If I run lspci in terminal, it doesn't show up. The WNA1000 is lit up, and I know it works on other computers.
Where can I go from here ?
