Slitaz Persistence

I have made USB installation of Slitaz 3.0 with the Slitaz Installer, also with

Unetbootin Installer and Universal Installer.  All work fine so far, except I cannot

get persistence (except for /boot/grub/ files).

I have added "slitaz home=usb" to syslinux.cfg, with no help.

Have read all Slitaz documentation, and a lot of other material, but no help.

What can I do to get persistence?

I am running Slitaz on a Toshiba Laptop A135, using a Sandisk Cruzer 2GB USB stick.
