Login and Password

Good day

I am new to Linux and totally new to Slitaz. It may seem stupid but I managed to download and set up on a USB drive. I wish to run the distro on a P3 laptop. Plugged it in and it came up smiling. Eventually it squatted, scowled and said give me your login and password.

I tried a few things but to no avail. Can someone please enlighten me how I get around this.

By default username tux with no password set is used for the regular user and username root and password root for the root user.
