My Document Icon

I've enjoy this distro quiet well, but I am not able to delete the MY Document icon off of the desktop after an installation, and second I have followed all the recommendations to change the screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 and this is unsuccessful.

My install is on a Compaq Presario 1670 laptop maxed out with 192mbs of ram, this has proven to be a very fast OS these 2 issues are the only ones I have found that are causing me problems. Fortunately, I am patient and will continue to try and work these out and test Slitaz on some other machines.

BTW, what I like is that after the install my 4.3 gig hd still has 4 gigs of free space. This exactly what I'm looking for a lightweight OS without all the Gnome components installed. They seem to bloat my laptop down and make it slow.
