Building a Live image from a custom installed system possible?

Hello,

I'm in the process of building an automation server with some manually installed modules & drivers for things like Temp probes & serially controlled solid state relays.

Before I get too far, can I take my slitaz 4 install when i'm done & create a live image of the install so I can put it on a CF card for the target PC I plan on using for the server?

I've looked at Pizza but i'm not sure if that is what I need.

To get a working rootfs.gz of your running system you just need to type (as su or root)

tazlito writeiso gzip    or

tazlito writeiso lzma

depending on the preferred compression algorithm.

I suggest umounting the HDs bdfore that.

Be advised that tazlito doesnt pack the /run/udev directory, which might lead to uncritical udev errors.
