Wlan connection

Hi I have a Dell inspiron 1420 with wlan card included. How can I connect my PC to the wireless network?

Connect laptop to internet with wired ethernet.

Open terminal,become root.

Verify/install wireless drivers:

#tazpkg get-install linux-wireless

Load correct wireless driver,download/install firmware if required:

#tazhw detect-pci --get-firmware

Launch wifibox gui to view accesspoints,configure a connection:

#subox wifibox

wath hapend if i have not t?he ethernet cable how can I do it?

You download the files with a computer connected to the internet.

Copy/move the files with a USB flash drive to the Dell laptop.

To give you a link to the files I need some info.

Boot into slitaz with Dell inspiron 1420 with wlan card:

Open terminal

uname -a > slitaz.wireless

lspci -nn | grep -i net >> slitaz.wireless

cat slitaz.wireless make sure you see info in file.

Copy/move slitaz.wireless with USB flash drive to a computer with internet access.

Open slitaz.wireless and copy/paste info in Reply.
