How to type unicode characters in urxvt?

Hi all, I've installed urxvt, but I can't type any accentued characters!

This is a bit annoying, so if anyone could help me, it would be great, thanks

j'ai déjà regardé, ça marche pas mieux sur cooking que sur V3, parce que ça ne marche ni sur l'un, ni sur l'autre
