Error message using video on Skype

Running skype: runs well and the video looks like being there, but error messages below (does that need to be corrected ?)

I have to remove pwc (Logitech driver), videodev and v4l1_compat and reload them prior to starting Skype (reason for this is a long story, but essentially due to a problems loading pwc). However, once the modules are loaded I can see that Skype recognizes my webcam and when I click the test button I get the video image active. Unfortunately, I have still not tested in a live conversation so cannot tell you whether I wuld still get errors or not. But when I invoke skype from command line none of the error messages you listed appear on screen.

It would be interesting to see whether the error messages will disappear if you were to remove your webcam driver, videodev and v4l1_compat and re-insert them in the reverse order.

i will do some more testing on skype, but at this time, i have even bigger problems i need to sort out; the webcam is not recognised and the installation system claims that /dev/video does not exist (while is does)

I works on a live system so i know this is tied to recent change. I need to sort that stuff, and will let you know how it goes.
