sh: aoss: not found

Hi,

I'm trying to run a script which apparently required 'aoss' to be installed. It returns the message displayed in the title.

In Ubuntu, it looks like you can install a package called alsa-oss. I tried installing the alsa-plugins package in SliTaz but that didn't work.

The documentation online http://www.alsa-project.org/~tiwai/OSS-Emulation.html is unclear to me, it seems that aoss should be there by default.

Can anyone tell me how to get it to work on SliTaz?

Re: sh: aoss: not found

Fixed by compiling alsa-oss from source: http://mirrors.zerg.biz/alsa/oss-lib/alsa-oss-1.0.25.tar.bz2
