uvcvideo on slitaz 4

Has anyone come up with a solution for the missing support for uvcvideo on slitaz4? I am using acer aspire one aoa110-aw and I tried all different solutions recommended by the Slitaz users but none worked for me. Whenever I try to modprobe uvcvideo after installing necessary software, my system hangs up.

you mean to support webcam ?

I had to download package from cooking in stable to make it work.

I had the problem of kernel panics on plugging my Logitech QuickCam E 3500.

I found the solution (as thread 2 above claims) in the recompilation of the kernel. I used the information of this thread to build an optimized kernel for my system:
