Note the timestamps. He was only in the channel for 2 minutes.
This is sadly a common occurrence. In case you have the same mistaken sense of entitlement like as our friend above: We have lives, jobs, hobbies and commitments, so we aren't always at our computers. If we are there, it can take up to an hour before we respond. Please note that we do not have to help you since you are not paying us a cent. Being rude and impatient like Glitchd here will get you ignored.
If you want help from IRC then expect atleast a 30 minute wait before somebody responds. It could even be a few hours before somebody is around to help you. If you connect and act like a brat because nobody helps you under 5 minutes then I'll post it here for everybody to see. You have been warned.
PS. The command is [c]tazpkg up[/c] and you would have found it out if you tried [c]tazpkg help[/c] or even just [c]tazpkg[/c] without parameters.

Or if the requirement is for instant support then these people have the option of installing Windows and purchasing Microsoft Premium Level Support services.

Even with Premium Level Support from Microsoft, you still have to wait a few minutes for them to respond and if you throw a tantrum for a 2 minutes wait then it'll just be a waste of your money
People just need to get off their high horses and realize the world isn't here to serve them. I once had to wait a full day on IRC before I got helped in the Github channel and it was a full three days before the problem got fixed. IRC is NOT a quick fix and you'll probably get faster support on here than on IRC. However, if you idle in the channel you may get to meet some nice guys that may eventually help you with your problem.

Another one for the wall of shame:

Answer: Not officially. Sakis3g can switch the modem, but not connect with it. Use Gnome-PPP after switching to connect. Search the forums for the relevant links.

Then he tried to reconnect and was in for a minute and disconnected again. Not sure if inpatient or client problems.
Answer: Yes, and if you did a quick search you would have found out, perhaps even TazBot would have been able to answer this.
