Hi,I asked this in the Spanish forum with no answer, and I tried something and well the problem is bigger now.
The original problem was that I couldn't play my DVDs, then I found this sweet app called mount box and voila, it mounted my DVD and I was able to wach it. But then something horrible happened mountbox crashed, I tried to shout it down without success, so I opened a terminal su and kill...
It worked to end mountbox but now mountbox does not start. Thats a problem. Now no DVD and no mountbox...
I killed a process called something like "mount $DEVICE to $DIRECTORY "
Now When I run su mountbox i only get this message:
sh: 0: unknown operand
And nothing. I have to crt+c to end the process.
any idea?

I would simply re-install slitaz-tools-boxes package.
'su mountbox' will just attempt to switch user to mountbox which is why you would have got the error. Perhaps what you intended to do was to su to root and then run mountbox as root?

thanks for the answer, no I didn't type "su mountbox" I rooted then I typed mountbox. I tried to re install the slitaz-tools-boxes package, it worked for one time, then the error came back.
I will do more tests tomorrow, for now many thanks.

Well, I tried some things, and:
Mountbox crashes whit video DVDs,
Some DVDs doesn't work at all, and others when mounted doesn't play, and only one plays.
it looks like mountbox worked all the time, but when I have certain DVD in my drive is when it crashes. I hope I wrote that right.

I'm geting tired of this...
I have no clue...
googling I found that I should have installed libdvdcss or something like that, I installed it, but still no dvd, now I get this:
DVDRead could not read 1/4 blocks at 0x01.
then I try whit another DVD and vcl says this:
DVDRead could not read block 0.
Even more its pointless trying to play dvd without mounting them. I tried to open /dev/dvd:
Playback failure:
DVDRead could not open the disc "/dev/dvd".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///dev/dvd'. Check the log for details.
and /dev/cdrom
Playback failure:
DVDRead could not open the disc "/dev/cdrom".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///dev/cdrom'. Check the log for details.
And well at least mountbox is working again

Now I have a possible answer, I'm starting to think its a region problem, I managed to play another dvd, that its supposed to be region 1.
Then I change the question, how do I install support multi region and how do I enable the DVDs menus?
