Maximal capacity for internal HDD

Hey devs,

since i'm going to use slitaz as a file server, i would like to know

which hdd capacity is supported? I'm going to buy 2 or 3 4TB HDDs. Does it depend on the controller, or should i consider another linux distro that meets my requirements?

Sincerely

your linux_noob

Re: Maximal capacity for internal HDD

With mbr partitions: 2TB

With GPT or without partitions:

- ext3: 32TB

- ext4: 1EB

- xfs:  8EB

Re: Maximal capacity for internal HDD

Thankx Bellard!

I'm going to use the hdds without mbr, so buying a larger hdd than 2 gb will cause not much trouble.
