Sane - No sane daemon?

Hi,

is it true, that slitaz does not have the saned daemon? I need it, because i would like to use my usb connected mfp as network-scanner, and without the daemon, it seems, that i cannot make my scanner available over the network.

Am i right?

Your are right, thank you. Should use wildcards more often. By the way, you couldn't tell me how to get sane properly cobfigured, could you? My client (Linux Mint) does not find a network scanner so far.
