terminal icon

one pb i have had for a while

the terminal icon does not show as expected

I successfully changed it to another icon, but each time i switch back to some terminal icon, it does not show properly

am I the only one with that (minor) problem ?

Does this mean it does not show up at all or that you get a different icon? Check the /usr/share/applications/xterm.desktop file and that the xterm.png file exists - or specify the full path of another icon file.

does it show properly on your side ? I have had the pb since V3

in the following screen i changed the icon to the full path /usr/whatever

so that at least in the FM the icon shows up, (otherwise it does not at all); this is the V4.0 live.

but as you can see, the icon for sakura window in the task bar still appears as a white square with a blue line on top (which really is a "no icon" icon)

, instead of showin the xterm icon

I tried several time to change it for a terminal icon with no success.

What you see is normal for SliTaz.

Lxterminal has a task bar terminal icon.

These programs on slitaz-rolling.iso have the "no icon" taskbar icon:

Sakura,xterm,beaver,mtpaint,viewnior,ISOmaster,galculator

A program shows the same icon in the taskbar as it has in the upper left corner of it's titlebar.

I have no idea how to fix the problem.
