How to resize my screen?

Hello, I am new to SliTaz, I finally just got it booted up, but now I am wondering, 'How do I resize my screen?' Can someone help? I am running SliTaz 3.0. Thanks!

Re: How to resize my screen?

You could try my lxrandr package I have @ http://www.trixarian.za.net/SliTaz

You install them using the tazpkg install command with your terminal. Just copy the lxrandr.tazpkg file to your home folder, su to root and use tazpkg install lxrandr.tazpkg to install. Make sure your online because it needs to pull dependencies to install.

After it's installed you just go to Menu---> Preferences---> Monitor Settings and click the resolution you want.

Oh btw, you'll probably want to try setting up your display driver before you do this or you may not get all the resolutions possible:

1.) Open xterm (or any terminal emulator)

2.) su to root (su, press enter/return and enter your root password)

3.) Make sure your online and type tazx

4.) Click on xorg Install or Reconfigure Xorg and click OK

5.) Wait for it to download everything and pops up the next menu, then click on Intel and click OK.

That should install the closest compatible drivers that SliTaz has for you and you'll notice that xrandr (and other programs - especially games) works better.
