Can I upgrade SliTaz 3.0 to Cooking without downloading the ISO. Is it an option within the operating system itself, and if it is, would it be recommended to do so. Would is fudge up my system?

With the current state of cooking, changes and otherwise? More likely than not. This is not to say it won't work, but it will probably require you to get hands on and fix the problems that will arise from it.
