Failed to load module "ati"

New install of slitaz-rolling on HP netbook with ati video using vesa driver set to 1024x768. Unable to use ati driver. In Xorg.0.log I have:

Module ati: vendor="X.Org Foundation"

compiled for 1.9.5, module version = 6.14.1

Module class: X.Org Video Driver, version 8.0

(EE) module ABI major version (8) doesn't match the server's version (12)

UnloadModule: "ati"

unloading ati

Failed to load module "ati" (module requirement mismatch, 0)

I have followed thread with similar problem with fb, went to cook and downloaded newer version of xorg-xf86-video-ati-6.14.14.tazpkg. four times, and with different browsers.

This file show 0 bytes when downloaded with Midori, and Firefox complains that file is corrupted and refuses it. It is possible that this file is faulty on server. Could please someone address this?

I have reinstalled ati driver from repository and problem disappeared. X loads radeon driver and screen is 1280x800 as it should be. What is plaguing me now is really slow scroll in Leafpad,  and extremely slow in Abiword. The same problem is in Slitaz 4 on another partition of the some netbook. Any idea what is the cause anyone?
