Hi.
I run SliTaz on my Acer. SliTaz run s very fast and it is the ideal OS for this Unit.
Only the Card Reader i can't get to work.

Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0cf2:6250 ENE Technology, Inc. SD card reader (UB6250)
I installed linux-mmc package and modprobe it
modprobe mmc_block
modprobe sdhci-pci
lsmod:
sdhci_pci 5245 0
sdhci 12287 1 sdhci_pci
mmc_block 7129 0
mmc_core 41741 2 sdhci,mmc_block
... but .... nothing works ... SliTaz doesnt find a drive or a pluged in sd card.
What can i do to get the card reader to work ??

Can you mount it as root?
(You didn't say which model of Acer, some will only read cards of up to 2gb.)
Hi fatmac
i wrote it in the headline ... its an Acer Aspire One D255
No, i cant mount it. Not as user also not as root.
The mounttool shows only my sda (hd) drive but no sdb
Also gparted shows no other drive as the harddrive sda
Read something about a driver "keucr" in some other linux forums ... it seems this driver works to the Acer ENE mmc drive...
I installed now the toolchain an dev-pks and tryed to compile the source. I am not experience in compiling ... and always get a error ccflags-y not found...

# tazpkg install linux-keucr-2.6.37.tazpkg
# modprobe keucr

My apologies, yes you did, I was reading the post itself, but I still would not have known that it could read SDHC cards because it only says SD in

(I have an AAO532 & it can't read SDHC cards.)
Great !!!
Thank you very much, mojo!!!
It's just what i am looking for...
The keucr driver works perfect with my Acer D255. Can read/write to SD also SDHC Cards...
@fatmac...
