vi > vim > vim-tiny

On slitaz4.0 I noticed a slighly annoying behavior with the editor (I'm not into nano):

When pasting text (in insert mode), the start of successive lines is moving to the left.

btw: My emulator is putty, I'm working with the shell using my laptop, no X.

So I thought I would try to install the package 'vim'. tazpkg -gi vim did the trick to install vim v7.3. However, after that I was unable to paste anything at all so I removed that one quickly. Then I tried the more basic equivalent package 'vim-tiny' and fortunately this one is indeed behaving as I would like to see. I can paste large blocks of text without spoiling the layout.
