First, I am very new to slitaz.
I am tiring to cook the wok, and having lots of build failures.
For example, libnotify. It doesn't find glib header files. It's configure doesn't seem to use pkg-config to figure out stuff and set cflags, ldflags, ...
There are bunch of packages like this. Before I killed it, cooker -a cooked about 600 packages and 1000 failed.
I would think others would see this stuff as well including your server builder, so I must be missing something.
Also, cook qt4 corrupts my chroot (removing utils, gcc, tazpkg ....). Is this a known problem.
Thanks for the help.
I am wanting to use slitaz as a base for an internal 'flavor' we use for testing. I want to be able to rebuild stuff.
I am late to the game in understanding tazwok vs. cook/cooker but concluded cookutils as the right tool. I guess I am asking for best process to rebuild packages in wok.
Thanks for your time.

Your build environment is incomplete or broken.
View the cook log and receipt for all packages in wok here: http://cook.slitaz.org/
Type package name in Package:
Hit Enter/return on your keyboard
Libnotify: http://cook.slitaz.org/cooker.cgi?pkg=libnotify

I agree. I am asking how to create that build environment. I believe I did:
tazdev gen-chroot
tazdev chroot
cook setup
cooker -a
please let me know should do something or just try again.
Thanks

You must be specified on "cook setup":
cook setup --wok (if you using Slitaz Cooking Version family)
cook setup --stable (if you using Slitaz Stable or 3.0, but I thing "cookutils" not yet on
Stable or 3.0. You must using "tazwok" system)
cook setup --undigest (for Slitaz Custom Build Version)
Dont forget your PC/Laptop etc., must connect to the internet...
Thanks I hope this help.

What about checking and reading this page:
http://hg.slitaz.org/cookutils/raw-file/tip/doc/cookutils.en.html
Happy Slitaz.

Thanks Saipul, it does help. I am trying again.
I did read that page. The section on cooker is what I really did, I guess.
cooker setup
cooker -a
I am now trying:
cook setup --wok
cooker -a

well, I am still having problems, and kinda what I saw before
After a while everything fails to build. This time cause something deleted gcc.
tazpkg still list gcc package as installed.
I killed cooker
tazpkg get-install gcc --forced
Built a couple of things after that were broken and they built.
Some didn't, for example lesstif cause it doesn't find /usr/lib/libuuid.la
I will try restarting cooker to see what else occurs.
Currently, I got 508 cooked and 1066 broken.
