I downloaded the ISO from the website. I then installed it on my flash-drive using a free windows tool called 'Universal USB installer 1.9.1.9'. that worked OK i just booted off my flahdrive into the live thing and had a we play but the WiFi setup was very confusing i put all my details like SSID, password and security type. and it didn't connect.
I have a 'ASSUS U31S' laptop with an 'Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N100.

lsusb
ifconfig
iwconfig
cat /etc/network.conf
lsmod

Do I need to run those commands as root?

It's to hard to type out all the output is there any way to save the out put as a .txt or similar

To save the output, just type lspci -nn > lspci.txt and so on. The files lspci.txt, lsusb.txt ...can be opened with leafpad, vi, emacs ...
The commands netbox and wifibox (before you have to type su and the root password) are very usefull to setup a connection.

commands are
lspci -nn

and not
ispci -nn

I find it helps telling people "ls" stands for list, so the commands mean list pci (devices) and list usb (devices).

Assuming you have a working Internet connection through your wired port, http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/slitaz-doesnt-detect-either-my-ethernet-or-my-wireless-hardware-having-trouble-getting-started#post-19766 should get you going with the Intel Centrino Wireless.
If you don't have a working Internet connection, try http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/atheros-8151#post-16860 to get your wired connection working.

Sorry I'm only aloud to use WiFi so that wont help but I have windows 7 with working WiFi. Is there any way I could use windows to download the drivers for SliTaz.
