How to install programs and how to get su password

HEY!!!! I'm a newbie 2 slitaz and I need help on how 2 install programs downloaded from the web on slitaz and also how 2 get such password and/or superuser access in general any help would be appreciated and plz break down in simple form thx again

The default root password is root. This can be changed when you install SliTaz since packages installed while using the liveCD won't be there the next time you boot from it. You can also install packages using tazpkg - all of which is explained in the short documentation file that comes with SliTaz.
