SliTaz menu icon 48x48px

Hi guys,

first of all, i wish you all merry christmas.

Since I use SliTaz-4.0 on my fujitsu-siemens lifebook p7010, I love to work with SliTaz. It's a pitty, I don't get it run on my old pc. There I still use SliTaz-3.0. In total it seems, the 3.0 version is more stable?

On my lifebook I want to change the icons on the desktop. some of the original slitaz icons/pixmaps such as e.g. the menu-icon are only in max. 32x32px available.

On screen resolution (original) 1280x768, the icons appear very little and when I set the appearance to 48x48 they look very blurry because they are in original 32x32.

Do I have the chance to get all icons/pixmaps in 48x48 ?

Hi aniguenni,

If web traffic is not problem for you, download and install package Faenza icon theme (6.2 MiB).

If problem, so, here is absolute minimum of menu categories icons, that let you see ONLY menu categories (Documentation, Development, Multimedia, etc.) in 48×48. SliTaz standard icon theme is based mostly on Faenza (and, sometimes, Tango), so I separated icons from Faenza to attached archive.

And, archive contains file /usr/share/pixmaps/slitaz-menu.png in 48×48 while existing in your system is 32×32, so overwrite it, please.

Unpack archive to /

Select standard icon theme.

the faenca-icon-theme-1.3 i already have and use some of the 48x48px icons.

the slitaz-menue.png is exactly what i needed - thank you for that ;-)

for my desktop i'm still looking for the tazweb-icon in 48x48 an the tazpanel-icon in 48x48.

maybe you have this icons as well?

Nothing at all

I'll see in repo, if we have svg sources for these icons then i'll make 48x48 version for you using Inkscape.

By the way. Tell me, please, what icon sizes are you using?

- both for small and large icons in PCManFM;

- for programs tool panel;

- for applications menu (48x48, I know);

- for window title;

- for LXPanel.

Maybe it is a good idea to split big Faenza package into three ones: small, medium and big. Let's say, small will contain 16 and 32 sizes for small and big icons, and 20 for toolbar icons...

Or, better I'll create separate Faenza package with only scalable svg icons?

Here icons in archive: slitaz-menu, tazpanel & tazweb in sizes of 16, 20, 22, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128 & 256 px, and in svg scalable format.

SliTaz menu icon was mixed from background found here and SliTaz spider found here.

I know this was not a urgeant question and for you guys it's like wasting time. but you do so well.
