Hey there,
I'm trying to install Slitaz to the hard drive. Using the Slitaz installer under system tools, it appears to install, the partition formats, the files appear to copy and yes, the cd-rom does mount properly before doing all this. Afterwards it asks if I want to install GRUB so I can boot it, and I say Yes. After that I hit reboot.
When the pc starts back up it says "Error loading operating system" and then goes into an endless loop.
The partition is ext3 and there is no other os on the drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying to set this up with citrix xen receiver and a quick booting os like this would be perfect!
Thanks!

"Error loading operating system" is a microsoft winxp bootloader error.
Grub install failed to overwrite the MBR.
Boot the livecd, mount the partition you installed to,verify the rootfs, kernel, and grub files are present, install grub.

Thanks! I'll give it a try!

I too have had incredible trouble installing Slitaz, but this time in a VM (which the OS should perceive as it's own little self-contained hard drive). Every time I try to install, it appears to complete the process with no issues, but when I reboot, I get NOTHING but a blank screen with a dash on it. If I shut down the VM and restart it, it proceeds back to the iso image and acts as if it were never installed...
